A 28 year old male, Mr Lim has a big surprise when he received a WeChat friend request from a beautiful girl last week. Her profile picture showed a woman lying down in a low cut top while displaying her ample cleavage. This piqued his interest and he responding by asking what occupation she was in.
With no hesitation or worries, the young lady admitted to being a social escort and gave him her rates - $150 for 2 hours and $300 for the night. When Mr Lim asked about the venue, she said it would be a HDB flat in Yishun and that she was renting a room there.
Isn't it illegal to use HDB apartments for prostitution activities? Will the landlord face confiscation of his or her flat if caught by the authorities?
