On Wednesday evening, both the Punggol and Sengkang Light Rail Transit or LRT broke down. LRT operator SBS Transit said the total breakdown was due to power failure.
Free connecting bus rides have been activated at designated bus stops. As of press time, the LRT lines remained close.
