WP LEON PERERA: I DO NOT HAVE EDITORIAL CONTROL OVER THE INDEPENDENT S'PORE

I refer to the newspaper reports quoting People’s Action Party Member of Parliament Dr Tan Wu Meng in relation to the Workers’ Party’s statement on the investigations about alleged "Cooling-Off Day" violations.

I would like to reiterate that I am not involved in the management and operations of The Independent Singapore, nor am I a member of its Board. As a minority share-holder, my role is limited to providing occasional advice on long-term business strategy, not on editorial decisions or content.
