My colleague and myself went for lunch at Beppu Menkan Restaurant, located at 3 Pickering Street, #01-32/33 China Square Central Nankin Row Singapore 048660.
We order 2 bowls of ramen. When my colleague is close to finishing her noodles, she realized that the each strand of noodles are actually tainted with black spots. She said it might be moldy and i checked mine, it is also tainted with black spots. (See attached picture)
I got the staff over and she offered to change a new bowl for us. I told her it is not a new bowl that we want but we have eaten the moldy noodles. The patrons beside our table also found out that their noodle is moldy.
A guy from the restaurant came and offer to waive the charges and told us he doesn't know why the noodles are moldy as he check the batch and they are fine.
I think this is not true as usually when a batch of noodles are moldy, it should have spread.
Nonetheless we just left the place and never to go back. When we left, there are still people eating the moldy noodles.
My colleague is pregnant. I think it is very irresponsible that this restaurant served such inferior quality to paying customers.
