BEWARE OF THIS PHONE SCAMMER ON CAROUSELL

Just to share this around ppl, do take note of this guy, Whey Zhen Hui,

I chanced upon his iPhone 6 posting in Carousell on 10 June 2016.

Seeing that it looks like a good deal, i decide to pm him with my offer. we
correspond and agree on the deal. We had the deal on 11 June, at Safra
Clubhouse, Punggol as he said he was working there. I say okay since i am
living nearby so we meet at around 9-10am.

We meet up at Safra Punggol, beside the DBS ATM to deal. I was curious when
he told me he only has the phone, no box. my mind was thinking, based on the
warranty status, it is fairly new and it should be able to have the box and
accessories so i ask again and he say No, only the phone.

I actually did a check on the Serial Number before meeting him and it was
what he stated in the post, still under warranty so i did not think so much
and proceed with the deal after checking.

And today, i happen to chance upon Apple Website and decide to re-validate
the warranty and to my horror, the status has changed and it become expired
(meaning no more warranty).

I message the seller to clarify what went wrong. We know whatsapp have this
function of blue tick. He appeared to have read my message but did not reply
and when i send another message, it left with a tick (which we possibly know
this guy had already block us).

I also called up Apple to find out more and understand the phone was 1 and a
half year old. It was not what he had claimed it was to be.

So i send a text message directly to him on my disappointment and told him, i
will lodge a police report on him.
