I always get so disturbed when I see people on social media posting photos that show them doing kind deeds. Doing kindness does not need to be announced to the world. If you are giving up your seat to an elderly or giving directions to someone who is lost, would you post the photos? No, right?
When I see my Facebook friend sharing photo of himself donating money to animal welfare, I feel so disturbed. So sharing photos of themselves donating pennies or cents to animal welfare society to save the animals, are more touching and deserves the heroic title or comments from Facebook friends? To show that their cents are worth a size of wheel in third world countries? Our self proclaimed heroes in our modern social media world.
