A Singaporean Facebook user Melvyn Tan received an unsolicited friend request from a girl from Guangzhou China. She told him that he was handsome and wanted to be friend with him. After chatting for a while, she suggested buying an air ticket to Singapore to meet him to have "fun". "Mandy" asked for Melvyn to pay for her air ticket and asked him to remit money to her. To encourage him, she sent him provocative photos of herself.
Knowing that Mandy is most likely a PRC scammer using sex to get money from their victims, he decided to play her along and waste her time. Check out how he did it below.
