This Spartan people are acting like the California Fitness Group. Get us to sign up for their race on the 29 October 2016, cancel on us due to "unforeseen" circumstances, then left no option for a refund! My $60++ gone!
I signed up for the Spartan Stadium race, a few weeks ago, and today received an email that "The upcoming race at the stadium will not take place as scheduled due to unforeseen circumstances" No explanation on what the circumstances were at all.
Then instead of offering an option for a refund, they told us we could either:
(1) Deferring the paid ticket to the Spartan Bintan Race in November by topping up $68 dollars more,
(2) Deferring the paid ticket to the next Spartan race in Singapore scheduled in 2017
Eh hello, you think I'm stupid ah? One of your events failed already, and I'm supposed to throw good money after bad, pay another $68 to go to bintan? How can I trust this company to go to bintan anyway, after their abrupt cancellation of an event after taking our money?
The other option is to go for the next race in 2017? Am I supposed to keep myself free and train for an event which doesn't even have a date set yet?
SINGAPOREANS BEWARE, SPARTANS TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEN CANCEL THEIR EVENTS WITH NO WARNING OR REFUNDS!
