I want to raise awareness to all road users regarding such road accidents.
As we know, there are many e-bikes on the roads now and people are now buying e-bikes and these riders are too reckless, often cutting through path on other big and heavy vehicles. Just this morning, at least an e-biker was killed after an accident with a trailer. I would like to tell the authorities to ban the sale of e-bikes in Singapore and make all e-bike owners dispose their e-bikes immediately, those who fail to do so will face either jail term or a hefty fine.
And also, time to restrict the use of trailers and heavy vehicles already, during peak hours, they should be banned! Look at the amount of traffic on the roads, with these nuisance heavy vehicles on the roads, not only it will take up lots of road space and cause congestion, they cause a lot of accidents. Time to restrict the use of heavy vehicles from between 9am to 4.30pm only. Anybody who uses a heavy vehicle after 4.30pm shall be charged with attempted homicide and our roads will get safer with lesser accidents.
