I wonder if my friend has done the right decision by willing his HDB flat to his son instead of dividing it equally between his 2 sons.
My friend has 2 sons.
The older is married by sometimes gives money back to his father, sometimes he does not.
The younger is not married and staying with his father. This son gives him money monthly to pay for bills and has never asked for the house or anything.
But the older son keeps asking his father to sell the flat and use part of the money to fund his stay in a condominium.
Now my friend decided to will the house to his younger son, the older son is damn upset and threatened to disown his own father as he finds it unfair.
Even my friend's wife also feels upset that he is unfair.
They were arguing about it when I last visited him, that's how I know about it.
