The 27 year old Indonesian woman Dian Yulia Novi who was arrested for planning to mount a suicide bomb attack in Jarkata worked as a maid in Singapore in 2014.
She shared on local Indonesian TV that she was radicalised throught Facebook while working as a maid in Singapore. She would open the Facebook profiles of jihadists and collected articles or videos of extreme teachings from the internet.
During her stint as a maid in Singapore, she worked in a household with 3 young children and was an active Facebook user.
Dian was one of the culprits nabbed for plotting to suicide bomb the Jarkarta Presidential Palace with a 3 kg high grade rice cooker bomb.
