
According to a news report by the Taipei Times, Singapore has allegedly denied entry to Taiwan's ex-Deputy Minister of National Defense Lee Shying-jow, despite tacit agreement that his visit to Singapore was approved.
Taiwan's Trade Representative to Singapore Liang Kuo-Hsing could not be reached for comment on the incident. Lee was on his way to Thailand at the invitation of the Thai Royal Family Agricultural Foundation and decided on a stopover in Singapore.
This came after Hong Kong customs officials seized terrex armoured vehicles belonging to Singapore after they were being shipped home after military training exercises in Taiwan.
