Are Singaporeans made to serve NS to protect foreigner like this?

"A pinoy stood up to a Singaporean and told him that it is not the fault of foreigners that Singaporeans cannot find jobs.
He did not care that Singaporeans have to serve NS and he laughed off the suggestion that foreigners should serve too.
With excellent 'business english', he said that Singaporeans are bloody lazy and he and his pinoys have no problems even if they are kicked out of Singapore.
Well, then why aren't they leaving?"
