Dear Editors,
We always teach and preach to younger people to give respect to our elders. We assist them, let them be first in queues, assign special lanes for them and even assign specific seats in the train for them.
But if your kids see this (Gangsta) Uncle that I saw in the train on my way to Dhoby Ghaut this afternoon, I think they would think twice in giving respect to this old guy.
This is a clear "in your face" example of abuse of elderly rights. Sadly, no one also had the guts to tell him that he's not at his home to act this way. I wanted to, but then again, I'm not in the position to, based on my race..
