Dorothy is appealing for witnesses of an accident that took place on Jan 16 (last Monday) at 11.45pm next to Pathlight School, along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1.
Her boyfriend was riding towards the Central Expressway when the taxi in front of him jammed its brakes suddenly at the junction.
Her boyfriend could not brake in time and slipped under the taxi. The motorbike landed on his left lower leg resulting in serious injury.
"His leg was badly damaged and he had to have surgery to remove the lower part of his limb. He is now still at Tan Tock Seng Hospital."
Dorothy is 23 weeks pregnant.
